JAPANESE PAINTING WORKSHOPS

With over 30 years of experience in Sumi-e and Japanese culture, I am sharing my expertise in the Japanese art form in Amsterdam!

I teach the basics behind the art form along with developing your hand movement skills. With Sumi-e you will not only learn precise ancient technics, but also improve your concentration in mastering the flow of your brush through your hands, creating an experience of stillness, peace and a sense of mastery. Once you have developed your knowledge in Sumi-e, you will be guided into Nihon-ga, which includes colors and pigments.

I am also offering my teachings in IKEBANA and ART FRAMING. If you are interested to take lessons, please contact me for more information. Group and individual sessions available.
